This is my antique bronze Green Tara statue. I found her on my travels through the Himalayas. She sits in the central place on the little altar I have in my meditation room. It is an upstairs mezzanine floor over my garage. I climb up ladder-like stairs to get there (through a trapdoor in the roof). It reminds me so much of the living quarters I saw in a monastery in Tibet so it seems fitting to have it decked out as a Buddhist meditation retreat. I have Buddha statues too, and an antique Thangka I also picked up on my travels.

My prayers and thoughts are with all those in Tibet right now. May peace descend upon this wonderful country.
