I just did it. Enlisted (yes that is the term they use) in the four week boot camp. It isn’t a fulltime thing – three sessions a week after work for the next four weeks. But it is intensive stuff. I am freaking out a bit to be honest but am determined to do this.
I’ll keep you posted on my progress – if I am still able to type that is! I have a feeling there is going to be a whole load of aching muscles in the next few weeks.
Its only after you sign up and get all the documentation that you realise just how tough it is probably going to be – all the waivers they put into the contract. Informing you of emergency numbers to call ambulances
Well good luck to you. I thought about enlisting in the reserves, I need some discipline in my life. But I have two situations my daughter and the president. I don’t want to leave her and come back and she is a little monster. I also am scared of what the president will do before he is out of office.
But truly good luck. The workout will do you good. And you will see things a bit different from your experience. Make the best of it.

Well, and good luck to you!
And with tongue in cheek I have to say – You never know who you might meet!
But enjoy it for what it is and what it could open up to you [Jumping off a mountain But I've only just got here!!!]
Good Luck Zen… it may be what you need… remember to focus your energy and release it… I think this will do you good… help clear your mind…
I’ll be thinking about you… Remember, Have Fun
Thanks everyone, tonight is my first night so I’ll report back on how I go! It is cold, dark and grey outside right now so it will be interesting! And it is forecast rain and gales.
Kizze, welcome to my blog
nice to see you here. I am an Australian but I can relate to what you say about the president.
Free, tongue very firmly in cheek – the last thing on my mind is meeting someone when I look like death and am probably crying my eyes out
Enreal, I think it will do me good too – what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger after all! I’ll try to have fun but that is not the first word that springs to mind.
